Thank you and Goodbye to our Associate Editor, Dean Reynolds

Greetings everyone! I hope May is coming to a fruitful end for all of you.

I am writing to announce that Dean Reynolds, our Associate Editor for Space is the Place, will be leaving our editorial team. On behalf of the entire Ethnomusicology Review staff, I would like to thank Dean for the wonderful contributions he solicited and edited for Sounding Board. Starting next month, Molly Jones will be taking Dean's place. (For a complete introduction of our 2016 Editorial team, please go to this page.)

Dean has curated Space is the Place—our platform for featuring jazz studies—since February 9th, 2015. (Click here to view all the posts he gathered for Space is the Place.) Dean is a Ph.D. candidate in Ethnomusicology at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York, where he is currently writing his dissertation on jazz musicians and listeners and their uses of recording technologies and new media. He has taught undergraduate music courses at City College, the New School, Princeton, and elsewhere, and he is a double bassist.

We wish you the best of luck in your scholarly endeavors Dean and thank you again for being an awesome editor!
